The notion of a definite top ten is ridiculous of course and I don't usually think about cinema in terms of lists so this was a slightly alien experience.
However these few films are a good representation of the broad church that is my taste. Each one has scoured and regenerated my being, and forced me to rethink my ideas about the cinema, myself and the world.
