Comments
Andrei Rublev
When I as a 19 years old film student walked out of the cinema into a freezing cold night I was trembling, something in me had changed and the change was permanent. I heard a voice inside myself telling me finally why I had chosen this path which I did not know. It was the only path which could lead me to what I did not know to exist.
Mouchette
This is the most pure film of inherited and socially inherited evil in man. This is its beauty.
La terra trema
This film shows the power of having no limits between the fictive and existing life as means of revealing the depth of human life.
Dekalog (Decalogue)
With the unique sharpness of observation, Kieślowtski lifts up everyday life to hum the spirit on every man.
Hiroshima mon amour
It is the best film in the name of Marguerite Duras, the master.
Further remarks
This was a mission impossible but a nice one.
