These aren't just films to watch if stranded on a remote island; they're worth going TO a remote island to be able to watch them over and over again. And there are others I wish I could have brought on board too - The General, Vertigo, Chimes at Midnight, Floating Weeds, The Night of the Hunter, Wanda, I am Cuba, Breathless, Aguirre the Wrath of God, Meantime, The Wind, Mulholland Drive, The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant, The Puppetmaster. The head spins with happiness that such miraculous works could be made!
