For me its almost impossible to make these kind of lists, so I started with around fifty films and narrowed it down to twenty. After that it became very hard. All of the films from the list mean a lot to me personally and also shaped me as a filmmaker. There are so many great films which are missing. I would like to give honorary mentions to "Au Hasard Balthazar", "The Night of the Hunter", "Star Wars : Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back" and "Late Spring".
