Last time I chose films from my lifetime, this round I chose films from my professional lifetime (basically mid 1980s onwards), apart from Don’t Look Now - which I was too young to see when it was released but seeped deep into the cinema cathedral in my mind when I finally did see it and, along with the other titles I list, reminds just how great cinema can be as an expansive and poetic medium, now and always.
