David Webb Peoples' flawless script dispels every myth about the iconic old west outlaw and this film establishes itself as the gold standard of westerns past or present. Clint Eastwood stars in what is also his directorial masterpiece.

It's so hard to choose a 'best' Pixar film, as Toy Story (1995), Monsters, Inc. (2001), Wall-E (2008), Up (2009) and Inside Out (2015) all merit consideration. But it was this film's astonishing third act, centred around the creation of a signature dish rather than a chase or a battle, that helps this one stand at the head of the class. And being the best Pixar film means that it should also be considered one of the best films of all time.
