Okay, we all know there is no such thing as a list of the ten best movies (to really be able to answer that question, one would have to see every film ever made).
However, below are ten movies that have taught me, inspired me, viscerally affected me or opened my eyes to new possibilities in filmmaking. Each has jumped off the screen and landed inside me.
