The international market is an ever-changing landscape, where major disruptions alternate with periods of slighter shifts. Sales companies navigate these transformations with different approaches, which impact their work both in acquisitions and sales.
Our panel of international sales agents – all of whom have films screening at the BFI London Film Festival – will be joining us from France (Alphaviolet and Memento International), the US (Visit Films) and the UK (Bankside Films). They will discuss the main challenges they face, and the strategies they adopt to help develop new talent and seize opportunities for English and foreign language films, to have successful international careers.
Speakers:
- Sata Cissokho, Head of Acquisitions, Memento International
- Virginie Devesa, Founder, Alpha Violet
- Sophie Green, Head of Acquisitions and Development, Bankside Films
- Madeleine Tangney, Director of Sales, Visit Films
Host:
- Wendy Mitchell, journalist and film festival consultant
