Are you an LGBTQIA+ creative looking for additional career development support as you work towards your debut feature, TV pilot or online commission? The BFI NETWORK and BAFTA Mentoring programme in partnership with BFI Flare could be for you.
This programme is for UK-based writers, directors and producers working towards a debut feature, TV pilot or online commission. Applicants should have experience in short films, theatre or radio, and ideally have screened a short film at a BAFTA-qualifying or international LGBTQIA+ film festival (or received equivalent community recognition). Writers may substitute a full-length theatre production or broadcast radio credit.
Successful applicants receive:
- intensive lab at BAFTA during BFI Flare
- networking event at BFI Flare
- year-long one-to-one mentoring
- four wellbeing/career coaching sessions
- three-year BAFTA Connect membership
- BFI Flare and BFI LFF accreditation
