4pm to 5:30pm, 18 May, online
Developed for teachers of History, this event uses a wealth of film from the BFI archive that represents the experiences of Black British people. Presented by historian and ex-teacher Hannah Cusworth, the session will use a curriculum-relevant enquiry to explore the BFI film archive and illustrate how it can be used as a teaching resource. Student worksheets and ideas for lessons will be shared. Join us as we explore recordings of lived experience in 20th-century Britain and stories of migration.
