Poly Styrene: I Am a Cliché (2021) Falcon Stuart

30 June and 1 July, in-venue at BFI Southbank and online

The BFI Media Conference is a unique CPD opportunity for teachers of KS4/5 Film, Media and English. We welcome you for sessions packed with opportunities to hear from and talk directly with industry practitioners, researchers and other teachers, leaving you full of ideas to take back to your students.

In 2022 we welcomed Anne Mensah, Vice President Series, Netflix UK, as our plenary speaker. We were also pleased to welcome teaching strand workshops full of ideas and resources covering everything from authorship and representation to storyboarding and horror; industry strand speakers giving unique insight into influencer marketing, music video direction, cinematography and news video explainers; and research sessions, including a special focus with James Curran and Jean Seaton on their seminal text Power Without Responsibility.
