Initially a 1940 stage hit, this delightful, constantly surprising gem of a comedy-thriller was adapted for the cinema in 1941. It retains some of the brilliant original cast, including Alastair Sim and cheeky cockney teen George Cole. The drama unfolds on a Scottish estate, home to a genius inventor working on classified military projects... which are of interest to Nazi spies.
