Applications for group study visits
We can accommodate larger groups on Mondays when the library is closed to the public, and smaller groups of up to 10 for morning sessions during the week. Please include the following information when applying for a study visit.
- How many students are in the group?
- When would you like to visit?
- How will you be paying for the visit?
- What is the research project or topics?

Day bookings
The library is available for day bookings on Mondays. These sessions run from 10.30am to 5pm. All sessions begin with an introduction by one of the librarians. Visitors are then able to pursue individual or group projects. These sessions allow groups to explore the collections held in an exclusive environment, with dedicated staff on hand to help, and any materials held in the closed access stack collected throughout the session. For all-day bookings, we are able to accommodate up to 40 individuals.

Inductions and tours
We can provide inductions to the library and its resources for undergraduate or postgraduate students who may benefit from using us. Prior booking is essential.
We can accommodate groups of up to 10. With a large cohort of students, we offer visits from one of our librarians, who will give a presentation and answer questions at your location.
We can also arrange tours of the library and its collections for information professionals. We can accommodate up to 10 visitors. For those requiring a more detailed understanding of the library and the collections held, we offer custom events involving several specialist staff.
