Digital curatorial archivist
Will joined the BFI in May 2024 as a digital curatorial archivist with a focus on online moving image for the Our Screen Heritage Screen Of Now strand. Working within curatorial he coordinates accessioning digital works and contributes to project curation. Previously he worked as technical manager of Open City Documentary Festival.
Will graduated from the Creative Skillset Media Archive Traineeship in 2016 having screened archive film for many years as part of the L15 Projector Cooperative in Liverpool. Since then, he has worked as a programmer, projectionist and technical manager across film exhibition. His interests include expanded and interactive film screenings, 1970/80s activist film, internet video culture and working with 16mm.
