Paola Martucci

Paola Martucci is a Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator in the Special Collections team. She joined in 2024 as part of the Audit to Access project to create valuable and exciting volunteer projects that connect the archive to the local community and beyond. As part of her work, she is focused on volunteer practise and procedure, supporting volunteer goals and aspirations in screen craft archiving, and fostering valuable partnerships with external organisations and communities.

Paola has a BA in History (University College London) with much of her degree focused on Film History and Film as a Historical source. She has previously been a volunteer in local museums and worked as a Volunteer Coordinator in the Health and Medical sector, which developed her passion for volunteering and supporting peoples volunteering goals. Paola’s interests are in American and Latin American political cinema, Women in Film and 1980s cinema.
