Omar Ahmed

Omar Ahmed is a writer and film curator from Manchester. He completed his PhD in Screen Studies at University of Manchester in 2019, and is the author of The Revolution of Indian Parallel Cinema in the Global South (Bloomsbury, 2025). He has curated for Il Cinema Ritrovato, the Barbican and Leeds International Film Festival.
