Statement on 2013 ticket price increase
In the current climate all cultural organisations are looking at ways of balancing the breadth and quality of their programming and the prices they need to charge to deliver excellence.
Our usual April price rise this year includes an increase in concession prices for the first time in over five years. After so many years of keeping our concessions prices as low as possible, this year we have had to raise them to a more competitive level to ensure that overall we can still provide the best films and guests from around the world.
We never take any price increase lightly but believe that our prices still favourably compare with those of our West End neighbours. We are maintaining our low prices on Tuesdays (now £6) but the number available will be reduced and so we encourage people to book early to take advantage of this rate.
