BFI Reuben Library events

The BFI Reuben Library hosts a range of events throughout the year.

During our major gothic season at BFI Southbank we embark on our most ambitious project yet: a series of 13 richly illustrated talks from leading experts, addressing key themes and issues raised by the programme. Join us each Monday night for darkly delicious intellectual pleasures, and let yourself fall deeper into the Dark Heart of Film…

Past library events include talks and presentations with Stacey Abbott, Charles Barr, Caroline Bainbridge, Stephen Bourne, Erica Carter, Richard Dyer, Catherine Grant, Tanya Horeck, Tina Kendall, Patrick Keiller, Nikolaj Lubecker, Laura Mulvey, Anat Pick, Laura Rascaroli and Jonathan Romney.

Events also take place in the BFI Reuben Library during the BFI London Film Festival and the BFI London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival.

The Edwin Fox Foundation Reading Room seats 50 people and many of our events sell out. We advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note that only bottled water is allowed in the BFI Reuben Library.
