The second in the 'Three Colours Trilogy', White is a very funny and ironic black comedy. French Dominique divorces her Polish husband Karol following their unconsummated marriage. Karol is forced to beg on the Metro, then returns to his native Poland where he becomes a successful black marketeer. The newly rich Karol then fakes his death in order to lure Dominique to Poland.
