Is it possible to obtain a copy of a film on DVD for teaching purposes?

The BFI National Archive holds viewable copies of a vast number of films and television programmes, and you can contact them to find out if they have a specific title. Owing to the number of requests we receive, we’re unfortunately not able to respond to enquiries for bespoke DVD copies.

Can I obtain a specific resource for teaching purposes?

Educational resources produced by the BFI can be purchased and/or downloaded online – you can browse our teaching and learning resources here.

Film Education, Media Education Wales and the English & Media Centre all offer a wide selection of resources, which you can view through their individual websites.
